Gerald Samuel is a boutique law firm founded and led by Gerald Samuel, an Advocate & Solicitor of both the High Court of Malaya and the Supreme Court of Singapore. The Firm offers sophisticated legal services with a strong emphasis on IP, commercial litigation, technology-related disputes, and strategic advisory work for both local and multinational clients. Gerald Samuel is a graduate from the Faculty of Law of the National University of Singapore and is a seasoned litigator and IP practitioner with over 35 years of practice experience in Malaysia and Singapore. He has acted in numerous leading, complex, and often landmark cases involving patents, trademarks, industrial designs, copyright, trade secrets as well as in areas of commercial law such as, complex commercial disputes and cross-border enforcement. Gerald set up the Malaysian office of Marks & Clerk, a leading UK intellectual property firm in 2009, and served as a director there till 2025.
